iForest

I recently went for a bike ride in the New Forest. The sun was shining for a change which made for some very picturesque views.

Didn't take my camera with me so took a few snaps with the trusty mobile.  The camera on the iPhone 5 seems to be a bit of an improvement on the previous models!

Grovely Spring

Taken during a recent visit to Grovely Woods. You can see from the second image that the bluebells are out in force!

Spring Spider

THE BLOG IS BACK!!!

Been a little preoccupied over the past few months and have hardly posted anything here but I am now back, camera in hand and have some catching up to do.

Can't believe we're almost 3 months in to 2013 already and spring is meant to be happening although the recent weather seems to have other ideas!

Anyway, I found this little critter on a house plant and he (or she!) kindly posed for some shots. Used the Macro Lens Adapters to take these.

Spring Is Here

A bit lacking on posts recently as I have been busy and haven't had much time to get out and about with the camera.

Well, the clocks have changed and the weather has taken a turn for the better (although I hear it's going to start to get worse again now!!) and spring is definitely here as my body has informed me with the sneezing and runny nose - how I love hay fever!!

Here are a couple of spring time photos that I managed to catch in between the sneezes!!

Spring Time Macros

It is spring time here in England and the weather has been surprisingly good recently.

Here are a few new macro shots taken with the EOS 450D with a slightly spring time feel.

Snowdrops

I keep seeing these snowdrops in my back garden and thinking that that I must take some photos of them. Quite apt considering the recent snow here! Saying that though, it has been nice sunny weather today so looks like spring might finally be approaching.
